Harald Shockhair is determined to bring all Norway under his control.

His son, Eirik the Bloodaxe has come ‘in peace’ to Edvard to demand he submit to the Shockhair.

The Bloodaxe is lying, and Edvard knows it. Why would he secretly bring one of the terrifying ulfhednar — warriors who transform into wolves — on a peaceful visit?

But Edvard knows ulfhednar of old, and feels no fear of the damaged wolf-warrior.

Edvard will not submit to Harald Shockhair, and he cannot fight. He and all his people will flee.

If Edvard has his way, they are taking the ulfhedinn with them.

Inspired by Norse myth and Icelandic saga, the Saga of Edvard and the Ulfhedinn is my homage to the stories that I have enjoyed for so long — and a pushback against the false view of medieval Norse people and life perpetuated by popular shows and video games. I hope you will enjoy.
